L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Bright Reveal

I joined BZZAgent recently and my first product to test was a package from L'Oreal Paris Revitalift Bright Reveal. In this package I received a facial cleanser with scrubbing beads, glycolic acid peel pads, night time serum/moisturizer duo and a daytime moisturizer with sunscreen.  All of the products have varying degrees of glycolic acid to gently reveal fresher brighter skin. I've been using these products for several weeks now and have had the following experience:

  • The facial cleanser has a nice, clean, citrus-ey smell. It rinses clean but the scrubbing particles are a bit harsh for everyday use and careful not to use this cleanser around your eyes.
  • The Peel Pads are fabulous, seem to be buffered to not sting but still made my skin bright red in to the next day. So although I felt no discomfort, the ingredients appear to be working and my skin felt smoother and looked a bit better.
  • The night time serum/moisturizer is weird, it's goopy with a slimy texture and made my face break out in big spots of acne. Not a fan of this product, didn't like it, didn't like the packaging for it and was not pleased with the results.
  • The daytime moisturizer is SPF 30 which is fantastic. I'm very fair skinned with a history of skin cancer so I generally don't go lower than SPF 30 in my facial products. I put this on my face and chest, under makeup in the morning. It made my face very shiny and it burned if even the tiniest amount got near my eyes. By late morning, my face would be so red it looked sunburned, even through the makeup. It also contributed to acne breakouts. I cannot recommend this product.

I enjoyed participating in this product testing and review through BzzAgent and look forward to the next opportunity to do a product review.
